Terms & conditions
These terms explain the agreement between you and Codeflow Solutions when you use SwapThisFace.com. Please read them alongside our privacy policy before uploading photos or creating an account.
Staging edition: payments and the external face-swap API are not yet live. Current jobs produce labeled mock previews, not real face swaps. The paid-service sections below describe the intended model and apply only when a paid offer is enabled and accepted at checkout.
Before public paid launch, we must complete our operating country and business address, the final payment and refund disclosures, and the external processing-provider details. No price or credit allowance is promised by this staging document.
1. About these terms
SwapThisFace.com is operated by Codeflow Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”). “You” means the person using the service or, if you are authorized to act for an organization, that organization. Contact us at [email protected].
By accepting these terms during sign-in or submitting a swap, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree, do not create an account or submit photos. Our Privacy Policy explains the handling of personal information. Nothing here removes consumer or privacy rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. The service and preview status
The service is designed to replace a single face in a target photo using a source face photo supplied by you. You choose the inputs, submit a job, and can download an available result. The application also provides account history, credit management, and a blog.
In the current staging environment, the external face-swap API is not connected. A mock job produces a labeled version of the target image to test the upload and delivery process. Illustrative portraits on marketing pages are not evidence of face-swap results. Do not rely on staging availability, speed, or mock output as a promise about the final service.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Use the service only if you can enter a valid agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you need a parent’s, guardian’s, or organization’s permission, obtain it before use. The service is not directed at children.
Accounts currently use Google sign-in. Provide accurate information, protect your Google account and signed-in sessions, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Do not share, sell, or transfer an account to evade usage limits. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for having permission to upload the chosen photos.
4. One free guest swap
The intended guest offer is one successful swap without account registration. The trial is reserved while a job is in progress and consumed when it succeeds. A failed or canceled job releases the trial reservation. In staging, a successful mock preview also consumes the test trial.
The free guest offer does not automatically become a paid subscription and does not require a payment card. Further swaps require Google sign-in, an eligible active subscription, and sufficient credits. Signing in does not reset a used trial. Do not use automated requests, multiple sessions, or other workarounds to obtain repeated free access.
5. Subscriptions and payments, when enabled
We plan to offer weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions, plus separate purchases of extra credits. Before you purchase, checkout must show the amount, currency, billing interval, credit allowance, applicable taxes, renewal terms, and other material conditions. Review those details before authorizing payment.
A subscription renews automatically at its selected interval until you cancel future renewal. Stripe will process payments and provide a billing portal. A successful checkout redirect alone does not guarantee an immediately updated balance: the service must confirm the payment. Contact support if a confirmed payment is not reflected in your account; do not repeatedly purchase to resolve a delay.
If payment fails, new swaps may become unavailable until the account has an eligible subscription and credits. Material price or plan changes will be communicated before they apply to a future renewal, as required by law. We will not use these terms alone to authorize a new charge.
6. How credits work
- One successful swap uses one credit. The system reserves a credit when accepting a paid job and settles that reservation on success. Failed or canceled jobs release the reservation.
- Subscription credits: issued after a confirmed qualifying payment and expire at the end of the associated billing period. The yearly plan grants its annual allowance together rather than in monthly installments.
- Extra credit purchases: purchased credits are configured not to expire, but an eligible active subscription is required to use them. Unused extra credits do not by themselves keep a subscription active.
- Credits are service allowances: they are not a bank balance, stored-value account, or transferable currency. Any refund rights required by law still apply.
- Corrections: duplicate events, reversed payments, refunds, or demonstrated system errors may require a corresponding balance adjustment. Contact us if your balance appears wrong.
Releasing a failed job’s credit is different from refunding a subscription or credit-pack payment. A technically successful result that you dislike may require support review; the application does not automatically refund every unsatisfactory image.
7. Cancellation, refunds, and payment questions
When billing is live, cancel future subscription renewals through Plan & credits and the Stripe billing portal. If the portal is unavailable, contact [email protected] for help. Keep your cancellation confirmation. Signing out, deleting a photo, or uninstalling a browser does not cancel a subscription.
Canceling renewal normally leaves access available until the current paid period ends. Subscription credits expire with that period. Extra purchased credits remain subject to the active-subscription requirement. Retained results remain available until their own expiry, unless your account has been deleted or access is otherwise lawfully restricted.
The commercial refund policy, any applicable withdrawal period, and any consent needed to begin immediate digital-service delivery must be finalized and disclosed before paid access opens. These staging terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” policy or ask you to waive mandatory rights. For billing errors or refund requests, contact us with your account email and transaction reference; do not send full card details.
8. Your photos, rights, and permissions
You retain the rights you hold in your source and target images. Uploading does not transfer ownership to Codeflow Solutions. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit to disclosed service providers, display privately to you, and deliver those images and the requested result for operating the service.
That permission does not grant us a general right to sell your photos or use them in advertising. Processing and deletion follow the Privacy Policy. Any separate promotional use would require a separate agreement.
You must have the necessary copyright, privacy, publicity, and other permissions for the images and intended use, including appropriate permission from people depicted. A publicly available image is not automatically free to use. We do not grant you rights in third-party faces, photographs, brands, or protected material, and cannot guarantee that a generated result is unique or eligible for copyright protection.
9. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and with respect for people depicted in images. Do not:
- Create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, or sexual content involving minors.
- Use manipulated images for fraud, identity-verification bypass, impersonation that deceives or harms others, extortion, threats, or harassment.
- Violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other applicable rights.
- Present a manipulated result as genuine evidence of an event or a person’s conduct in a deceptive or unlawful way.
- Upload malicious files, attack or overload the service, attempt unauthorized access, or bypass payment, trial, or security controls.
Label manipulated content where required by law or by the platform where you share it. If you believe the service has been misused or your rights violated, contact us with the relevant URL, account or job details if available, and a description of the concern. Do not resend illegal material to make a report.
10. Results, availability, and storage
Actual face-swap quality will depend on the inputs and processing provider. We cannot promise a specific resemblance, natural appearance, processing time, or uninterrupted availability. Review results before sharing or using them. They are creative output, not identity verification or proof of a real event.
Original uploads expire 24 hours after upload. Guest results expire 24 hours after creation; account results ordinarily expire after 30 days. Claiming an eligible guest result through sign-in can extend its retention. See our privacy policy for details and the distinction between access expiry and physical cleanup.
Download results you want to keep before they expire. We do not provide permanent photo backup. Your own downloaded or shared copies remain your responsibility.
11. Suspension and account closure
We may restrict a job or account where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security incidents, payment issues, legal requirements, or serious violations of these terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us for review. Immediate action may be necessary to protect people or systems.
You can request account deletion in settings. The current workflow disables access, cancels pending jobs, and schedules photos for removal. It requires an active subscription to have ended; canceling renewal alone may not immediately satisfy that check. Contact support for help with a closure or privacy request. Remaining records are reviewed separately as explained in the privacy policy.
Suspension does not by itself settle subscription cancellation or refund questions. Contact support to resolve ongoing billing, unused paid access, or an appeal. Any outcome remains subject to your mandatory legal rights.
12. Service limits and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without promises that every job will succeed, every image will meet your expectations, or third-party services will always be available. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. These staging terms do not impose a fixed monetary liability cap or require you to indemnify us for every claim. Responsibility for any loss depends on the facts and applicable law.
13. Questions, complaints, and disputes
Contact [email protected] with a clear description of the problem and relevant account or transaction details. We will review service, payment, and content complaints. You do not have to give up access to a court, regulator, or other remedy available to you by law in order to contact support.
The operator’s country and business contact address have not yet been finalized. These staging terms do not select a specific governing law or exclusive court, impose mandatory arbitration, or waive collective-action rights. Any jurisdiction-specific provisions for launch must preserve mandatory protections that apply to you.
14. Changes and other terms
We may update the service and these terms. We will publish the revised date and provide appropriate notice of material changes before they take effect. Where required, we will seek renewed agreement. New terms will not be used to retroactively authorize charges or remove accrued rights.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. Any additional checkout terms must be made available before purchase and cannot override non-excludable rights.
